The Fields node allows you to establish default field settings for the selected product type.
You can determine how a field appears and whether the field is required on a transaction. You can also establish valid values, conditions, and default values, and any settings entered in Product Setup override the settings in System Setup.
Only fields from the Export tab in are available for maintenance in Product Setup.
