Security

The Security node consists of User Management, Role Management, Group Management, Association of Roles to Groups, and Association of Users to Groups nodes.

The options establish security levels with two main purposes:

• Add and maintain system users and groups.
• Assign roles to groups and assign users to groups.

The general process for creating security parameters is as follows:

1. Add users to the system.
2. Create groups in which users are placed.
3. Assign roles to the groups. This role defines what level of security and features are accessible to each group.
4. Assign individual users to a group.
